WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Officials say skimmers were found on two pumps at a gas station in Wilmington.

According to detectives, a maintenance worker contacted police after finding skimmers, devices that collect credit card information, on two pumps at a Shell gas station, located at 4201 N. Market Street.

Authorities say they are unsure how long the skimmers have been on the pumps and how many credit cards may have been affected.

Police are asking customers of the Shell gas station to check their credit and debit records and to contact their bank or credit card provider and police if any discrepancies are found.
