Sources Say 2 Passengers Tried To Bring Guns Onto Planes In Their Carry-On Luggage In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Sources tell Eyewitness News there have been two incidents of passengers trying to bring guns onto planes in their carry-on luggage at Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday.
Sources say the first incident happened at about 9:30 a.m.
According to sources, the woman did have a permit and was allowed to get on the plane. Her gun was confiscated.
The second incident happened at about 4:30 p.m.
Sources say a 23-year-old man is currently being detained after he tried to pass security with a firearm.
