Snack Products Recalled For Possible E. Coli Contamination

CARLISLE, Pa. (CBS) – Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets have removed several products from sale after a voluntary recall by Rich Products Corporation.

The company says Rich Products Corporation announced it was recalling several varieties of Farm Rich snack products due to possible E. Coli contamination.

Products recalled include:

  • Farm Rich® Mini Quesadillas Appetizers, UPC 04132235635, 18 oz., with sell by dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014
  • Farm Rich® Mini Pizza Slices, UPC 04132235643, 22 oz., with sell by dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014
  • Farm Rich® Mozzarella Bites, UPC 04132237443, 22 oz., with sell by dates of January 1, 2013 through September 29, 2014

Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets asks customers who purchased any of these products to discard extras and bring a receipt to receive a full refund.
