Suspect Caught On Tape Stealing $1,600 In Tires, Car Jacks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who was caught on tape stealing $1,600 in used tires and jacks.

The theft happened at about 10:15 p.m. on March 29th at the Hunting Park Tire Shop located at 440 East Hunting Park Avenue.

According to investigators, the suspect was caught on tape climbing over a fence and entering the yard area of the tire shop.

While inside the yard, the suspect threw several used tires and jacks valued at $1,600 over the fence and then ran away in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 20-30-years-old. He was wearing a dark-colored jump suit with a hooded sweatshirt underneath.
