Get La Salle TV / Daily Collegian To Los Angeles To Cover The Sweet 16

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A group of La Salle University reporters is asking for your help.

When the Men's basketball team made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 21 years, four student reporters decided to drive to Dayton, Ohio to cover the historic game.

David Grzybowski, Mike McCoy, Rachel Finkbeiner, and Andrew Albert, members of La Salle TV and The Collegian, the university's newspaper, took to the road last week to report for their school.

As the team advanced, the reporters followed, traveling to Kansas City, Missouri to cover the Explorers' tear through the tournament.

With the Sweet Sixteen game against Wichita State set for Thursday in Los Angeles, California, they won't be able to make it by car.

Now they are asking for your help to fly to L.A.

They created a fundraising page online Sunday, which has already received national attention.

"We are overwhelmed with excitement," said Grzybowski, who spent Monday fielding media calls and emails as the group made its way back to campus in Olney. "This is a wonderful opportunity for La Salle University, La Salle TV, and The Collegian."
