STOW CREEK TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) – For the second time this week, a pedestrian was killed in Cumberland County, New Jersey.
Authorities say an unidentified person was struck by a pickup truck in Stow Creek near the intersection of Causeway and Stow Creek Roads around 8 p.m. Friday night. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene in Stow Creek Township until police arrived. He wasn’t hurt.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released. The incident remains under investigation.
On Wednesday, a 54-year-old woman died after being run over by a New Jersey Transit bus in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
