PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The 76ers have provided an update on center Andrew Bynum’s surgery.
Bynum underwent bilateral arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday. It was performed by Dr. David Altchek with the Hospital for Special Surgery.
The Sixers say Bynum will begin physical therapy on March 22, 2013 and will remain non-weight bearing for about three weeks. He will then spend an additional three weeks on crutches.
The team says it will provide additional information when appropriate.
