PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia’s school spring break is just around the corner and middle and high school kids needn’t scramble to find fun and interesting activities. PhillyGoes2College, an initiative of the Mayor’s Office, has just the ticket!
PhillyGoes2College is coupling exciting events with college-going activities. If you need extra help with SAT or ACT tests, there’s a workshop on tips for doing well and practice tests to improve your score.
A basketball tournament for high school students will be paired with a college fair, so if you haven’t applied yet to college, there’s still time to get accepted and get financial aid.
Maybe you want to learn more about space exploration – get a free ticket to the Franklin Institute. Never stepped on a college campus? Visit one of four schools hosting an open house just for SWAG.
There are over a dozen programs March 25th – 28th.
Check out PhillySWAGWeek.com for a listing of activities or call 215.686.0315.
