PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – “Sleeping Beauty” comes to the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater on March 22nd and 23rd.
Listen to the podcast below…
American Theater Arts for Youth Founder Laurie Wagman says it’s an original musical production of the classic fairy tale.
“Delightful music and dancing, great sets, and marvelous medieval costumes,” she says.
Wagman adds that although ATAFY’s productions are focused on kids, they’re a great experience for the whole family.
“In this day and age, when it’s hard for families to come together to find something that everybody in the family will enjoy on the same level, this kind of theater is the best experience in the world,” she explains.
