Man Wanted In Connection With Hatfield Stabbing Turns Himself In

HATFIELD, Pa. (CBS) – A man wanted in connection with a stabbing that happened in Hatfield last weekend has turned himself in to police.

On March 10 around 12:38 a.m., police in Hatfield responded to 339 Wheatfield Circle, where they found a 33-year-old female stabbed multiple times (see previous story).

Due to the extent of her injuries, the woman was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment.

After an investigation, 49-year-old Thomas Troy Young, the victim's husband, was identified as the suspect.

On March 15th, Young turned himself in to police. He is now facing charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and related offenses.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 25, 2013.
