PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Sure, the Sixers lost to the Heat Wednesday night, giving Miami its 20th consecutive win. But at least the Sixers showed some fight, and really, we want losses at this point anyway, right? The more ping pong balls, the better I’ll feel about this wasted season.
Perhaps the most joy any of us got out of last night’s game was Jrue Holiday’s play down the stretch (save for that turnover). The play down the stretch included a couple of clutch jumpers, and this dunk, on the best player in the universe.
Sure, it’s not DeAndre Jordan on Brandon Knight. But this is Lebron James, and these are the Sixers, so I’ll take what I can get.
If only Spencer Hawes decided to dunk the ball as well, instead of laying it up.
