Police Search For 2 Robbery Suspects In Girard Estates

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) –- Police are searching for two robbery suspects who they say were caught on surveillance video stealing from a Metro PCS in Girard Estates.

According to police, the two men entered the store, located at the 2000 block of South 22nd Street, at about 5:50 p.m. on February 28th.

Police say both suspects pulled handguns and pointed them at the employee who was behind the counter and demanded money. They then forced the employee to the back of the store where he was beaten.

The suspects took an undetermined amount of money and the employee's cell phone.

The first suspect is described as an 18 to 24-year-old black male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, with a medium complexion. He was wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a white or cream colored jacket, blue jeans, and black boots.

The second suspect is described as an 18 to 24-year-old black male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, with a thin build. He was wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a dark colored jacket, blue jeans, and black boots.
