Shooting Injures One, Stray Bullet Strikes Daycare In Point Breeze

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say one person was injured in a shooting on Thursday, and a day care struck by a stray bullet.

The shooting happened near 23rd and Mifflin in Point Breeze around 5:45 p.m.

Police say three ski mask-wearing suspects shot the victim man four times, and one of those bullets also hit a nearby daycare.

While parents and students were inside at the time, no one was hurt.

The shooting victim was transported to Methodist Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

An investigation is underway.
