Police Say They Have Car Wanted In Connection With Fishtown Hit-Run

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police in Philadelphia say they have a zeroed in on a person of interest wanted in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Fishtown last Thursday.

Ten-year-old Sarah Givens was struck by a car at Memphis and York Streets in Fishtown on March 7th around 2:30 p.m. She suffered a severe leg injury due to the accident.

Police say they have the white GMC SUV believed to have been involved inside an impound lot at Macalester Street and Whitaker Avenue.

Oddly enough, Givens’ 15-year-old sister, Kylie, was also allegedly struck by a car just three days later (see previous story) in a separate hit and run.

A suspect has not been identified in relation to that accident.
