PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The NFL opens its free agency period on Tuesday at 4pm, and when it does, the Eagles will reportedly be prepared to make an offer to a wide receiver.
Comcast Sportsnet’s Geoff Mosher reports that the Eagles will pursue free agent wide receiver Danny Amendola.
Amendola, 27 years-old, has been with the St. Louis Rams since 2009. He caught 85 passes for 689 yards and three touchdowns in 2010, and caught 63 passes for 666 yards and three touchdowns in 2012, while missing five games due to injury. He also had success as a kick and punt returner in 2009 and 2010.
