Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Lawnside Hoax Device Suspect

LAWNSIDE, N.J. (CBS) – The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man who placed a fake bomb in an elevator in the Lawnside municipal building.

The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on March 7th  inside the Lawnside Borough Hall building on East Douglas Avenue (see related story).

Police released pictures of the man who they believe placed a bag, with the mayor's name – Mayor Mary Ann Wardlow – written on it, in an elevator with a pair of flares taped to two pipes inside.

The suspect has been described as a 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, white male.
