HATFIELD, Pa. (CBS) – Police are looking for a man wanted in the attempted murder of a Hatfield Township woman early Sunday morning.

The incident happened shortly before 1 a.m. along the 300 block of Wheatfield Circle in Hatfield, Montgomery County.

Police say a 33-year-old woman was attacked with a knife by 49-year-old Thomas Young, a member of her family. Authorities would not say how the two are related.

The unidentified female victim suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment. Her condition was not readily available.

An arrest warrant for Young charges him with criminal attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and related offenses.

Young was last seen driving a black 2009 Honda Accord..
