Penn's Late Comeback Beats Brown 66-64

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Miles Cartwright scored 25 points on 8-of-12 shooting, and he scored the final eight points of the game on free throws to beat Brown 66-64 in an Ivy League contest on Friday night.

Patrick Lucas-Perry added 15 for the Quakers (9-20, 6-6), who beat Harvard 75-72 on March 1 and face Yale on Saturday. Penn leads the series 103-21.

Trailing 33-28 at halftime, Brown tied Penn 46-all on Sean McGonagill's four-point play with 12:21 left. The Bears held a 64-58 advantage on Matt Sullivan's 3-pointer with 1:57 remaining but did not score again.

Cartwright converted a 3-pointer and 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.

McGonagill had 15 points, Sullivan and Stephen Albrecht scored 13 each, and Rafael Maia had 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Bears (12-15, 6-7), whose four-game winning streak came to an end. Brown faces Princeton on Saturday.
