FBI agents began an unspecified investigation that led them to the storage facility Thursday evening. They spent the night searching for evidence and clearing out the storage units.
The material was found in two lockers at the facility. The dynamite was taken to Valley Creek Park where where it was safely detonated.
Sources say the compartment that was searched last night was rented by a 42-year-old man whose name appears on the rental paperwork agreement.
Sources also tell CBS 3, this man is also being looked at in connection to the discovery of suspicious devices in other parts of the country, but he does not pose a threat to the safety of the public.
