Bucks County Police Officer Injured After Being Struck By A Car

WEST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – A police officer was injured in Bucks County on Thursday.

The incident happened at Lawn Avenue and Route 309 around 7:30 p.m. while two Pennridge police officers were assisting a disabled vehicle.

A white vehicle struck the police car, which was pushed into a second police car, and that car struck one of the officers and pushed him into a guard rail.

The officer who was struck was taken to Grand View Hospital for minor knee and back injuries.

The second officer was not injured.

Three people in the white vehicle that struck the police car were also taken to the hospital for injuries. There is no word on their conditions.
