PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles will not release cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha on Wednesday, SportsRadio WIP’s Howard Eskin reported.
Eskin originally reported that Asomugha would be released by the Eagles Wednesday.
Asomugha, who signed a four-year, $60 million deal before the 2011 season was set to make $15 million for the 2013 season. The Eagles, if they release him, will owe him $4 million, regardless of whether he signs with another team.
