PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today’s APP-tastic and Outta SITE – AutisMate app.
Autism is a growing area of interest for app makers, but AutisMate is trying things a bit differently. The program lets children with the disorder develop their communication and behavioral skills using imported personal images, video and audio. That’s meant to help kids learn more easily, since they’re more comfortable with the familiar.
The app itself is based on scientific research and was developed with a network of over 300 experts, researchers and parents of kids with autism.
Check out the AutisMate app.
