PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — PECO says power has been restored to the nearly 2,000 customers affected by an outage in West Philadelphia on Sunday night.
The outage occurred shortly before 7 p.m. in the city’s Belmont section.
Officials say a downed wire found near West Girard and Belmont Avenue caused an equipment failure.
PECO initially reported 1,993 customers were left in the dark. It took a couple of hours, but crews were able to restore power to all the customers affected by the outage.
