Arrest Made In Hit-And-Run Death Of Delaware County Man

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Police announced an arrest on Monday in the hit-and-run death of a Delaware County man.

29-year-old Pacurie Huynh was arrested in connection with the death of 28-year-old Thomas Quercetti of Boothwyn.

The incident happened early on the morning of July 4, 2012 along the 100 block of North State Road in Springfield Township (read related story).

Quercetti was found lying in the road, critically injured. He had been kept on life support until just last week and was buried today.

Police were able to identify Huynh as the suspect after they tracked down his vehicle through a piece of lens from a headlight that was found on scene. Recent results of analysis of the lens led investigators to an automotive service shop that made the headlight repairs to the hit-and-run vehicle.

Huynh is charged with accident involving death or personal injury.  He was being held on $500,000 bail.

A court hearing for Huynh is scheduled for March 7th.
