'Twilight' Author Stephenie Meyer Visits Philadelphia With Stars of Upcoming Movie

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- She's one of the hottest-selling authors in the world.
"Twilight" saga creator Stephenie Meyer was at the Parkway Central branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia (19th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway) today, to sign copies of her latest offering, The Host, which is about to be released as a movie.
Flanked by The Host co-stars Max Irons and Jake Abel, Meyer posed for the paparazzi before sitting down and greeting a thousand fans who had stood in line for hours.
Some had even camped out.
"We slept in the street last night, from midnight," said one teenage girl. "So, (we're) excited."

"Meeting Stephenie is the best," added her friend. "She's our queen. We love her. Yeah, she got me into reading. She's, like, my favorite person."
Sure, the teenage girls love Meyer, but maybe not as much as the actors.
"I'm, like, shaking," said one. What was she shaking for? "Max. Over there."
Yes, over there, looking all cute while he signed posters.
What's so great about Max?
"I don't know -- he's British and gorgeous."
The movie debuts in theatres on March 29th.
