LAWNSIDE, N.J. (CBS) – Camden County authorities say a 47-year-old man died suddenly while he was in the custody of Lawnside Police.

Rodney Terry of Williamstown, New Jersey was arrested for throwing rocks and yelling at a house at about 6:30 Thursday night. Officers cuffed him and placed him in the back of a squad car.

EMTs were called to the scene because of Terry’s behavior and he was not breathing when they arrived. Doctors at Kennedy Hospital pronounced him dead at about 8 p.m.

Investigators are trying to determine what happened. Authorities say Terry’s cause of death will be released when it’s available.
