Man Arrested For Stealing $55,000 In Chips From Parx Casino

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) – Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a man who stole $55,000 in casino chips on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. at Parx Casino along Street Road in Bensalem.

Investigators say the man was gambling at one the table games when he grabbed a pile of chips and fled the casino.

Casino officials say the incident was captured on surveillance video.

The man was taken into police custody Tuesday evening after he went back to the casino to return the chips.

There was no immediate information on any charges against the thief.
