COLLINGSWOOD, NJ (CBS) – Police in Camden County are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a gas station and stabbed an attendant last week.

The incident happened on Friday evening at the Gulf Gas Station on Route 130.

The suspect pulled up to the gas station in a Honda Odyssey minivan around 5:45 p.m. on Friday, then got out of the car and grabbed an attendant working at the station and attempted to rob him.

The victim wrestled free, but a second employee who had attempted to help him was stabbed in the hand.

The robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the car he was driving was able to be traced back to a carjacking in Pennsylvania. It was later abandoned in Camden and recovered by police on Sunday morning at Federal Street and Marlton Pike.

The attendant who was stabbed was treated and released from the hospital.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact Collingswood Police Detective William Lyons at (856) 854-2401 ext. 106 or Detective Frank Lee at (856) 854-2401 ext. 104.
