WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — New Castle County police say one man is dead and another is injured after a shooting in Wilmington.

Police say paramedics responded Friday night to a report of shots fired on the 1700 block of Apple Tree Lane.

One man, identified as 25-year-old Dayvon Neal of Philadelphia, died at the scene after being shot. Another man, also of Philadelphia, was shot but treated at Wilmington Hospital for his injury.

Police say they don’t have a physical description yet of the shooter.
