BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) – The Bensalem Township Police Department hosted a gun buyback program Saturday to try to reduce gun violence.
Dozens of people turned out in Bensalem, Bucks County to turn in their unwanted guns at the Bensalem Township Building. In exchange for their guns, they received up to $200.
All guns are inventoried, then destroyed. They will be recycled and ultimately made into military weapons.
