CHERRY HILL (CBS) — Move over, Frankie Avalon. CBS 3 Morning Anchor Ukee Washington has signed on to make a cameo appearance as “Teen Angel,” the role Philadelphia ‘50s teen idol Avalon played in the movie version of “Grease.”

Washington will performed in Cherry Hill High School West’s March 2, 2 p.m. matinee of the student production of the popular play.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.

Other performances are scheduled for February 22 and 23 and March 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m. and a February 24th 2 p.m. matinee.

Washington is performing at the March 2 matinee only.
