Beautiful Friday Before Sneaky Snow Storm

By Katie Fehlinger

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A beautiful end to the work week, and one of those days you'll want to enjoy while you can ... because it won't last long!

Sun and a few clouds through the day. Our high will be 52 this afternoon, a solid 10 degrees above the norm.

But a blast of cold waits in the wings along with a sneaky storm moving in with it. Clouds start building Friday night and we may see some rain showers as early as the late evening, eventually changing over to light snow overnight with a low of 34.

We'll likely still have snow showers lingering into Saturday as the cold air settles in with a high of only 39. But a modest accumulation is the worst we're expecting right now - a coating to an inch or two. A lot depends on the final track of the storm, so we'll keep you updated as it evolves.

Sunday is a frigid and blustery day with a high of only 33. Sunshine returns for President's Day, the high 38. And a milder Tuesday, with a high of 48. Although we're tracking another -- this time larger -- storm with a chance of rain, perhaps some freezing rain and a chance of snow too!

FRIDAY: Sun & Clouds, Nice & Mild. High: 52.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Clouds Thicken w/ Rain Showers Arriving Late, Changing to Light Snow. Low: 34.

SATURDAY: Mostly Cloudy w/ Snow Showers (Coating-1" or 2" Accumulation). High: 39.

SUNDAY: Mostly Sunny & Frigid, Blustery. High: 33.

MONDAY: Mostly Sunny. High 38.

TUESDAY: Cloudy w/ PM Rain, Perhaps Some Freezing Rain. May End as Snow. High: 48.
