President Obama To Host an Online Forum
By Melony Roy
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- President Obama will participate in a Google Hangout tomorrow to answer questions about his State of the Union address.
For Google's town-hall style group chat platform, the president will be joined by selected participants described as those "who regularly discuss important issues of the day online."
On the White House Youtube channel, anyone can submit a question they want addressed by the president until 11:59pm tonight or vote on questions submitted by others.
The Hangout is scheduled for Thursday at 4:50pm.
Obama held a similar Hangout session following his State of the Union address last year. He's also done interviews on Google Plus and YouTube at least once a year since 2010.
