Delaware Sinks Northeastern, 76-74, In OT

BOSTON (AP) — Jarvis Threatt hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 10 seconds left in overtime to lift Delaware over first-place Northeastern 76-74 Wednesday night.

Delaware (14-12, 9-4 Colonial Athletic Association) trailed 74-69 in overtime but rallied with the game's final seven points. Jamelle Hagins began the run with a dunk and Threatt followed with two free throws. After Northeastern's Jonathan Lee was called for travelling, Threatt knocked down the winning trey.

The Blue Hens' Devon Saddler hit a jumper with 14 seconds left in regulation for a 67-67 tie, and the score carried through the buzzer.

The lead changed hands 21 times.

Threatt led Delaware with 20 points, while Saddler had 18 and Hagins 17 with nine rebounds.

Northeastern (17-9, 12-2) got 23 points from Lee and 21 from Quincy Ford. The loss ended the Huskies' four-game winning streak, and drops them to 3-1 in overtime games this season.
