PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia man has been arrested after his 7-year-old stepson unknowingly brought a gun to school in a backpack.
Tarron Wescott has been arrested for his involvement in the incident, which happened on Feb. 7 (see previous story).
The boy, who was attending an after school program at Daroff Charter School on Vine Street, reportedly found the gun in his bag and immediately told his teacher.
Police investigated the incident and took Wescott into custody on Friday.
