Officers Investigate Robbery Of Wilmington Gas Station

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Wilmington, Del. gas station Saturday afternoon.

Police say the robbery happened at the Shell Gas Station located on South Walnut Street around 1:45 p.m.

According to police, two suspects entered the station. One suspect held a knife to the clerk and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then left the scene in a tan Chevrolet Silverado, with a silver diamond plate tool box in the bed.

The first suspect is described as a black male, age 35-40, 6'3" - 6' 6" , 130-160 pounds with a full beard, black knit hat, blue jeans and new white Nike Air Jordan's. He was armed with a knife.

The second suspect is described as a black male, age 30 to 40, 6'0" - 6' 3" , 150-180 pounds with a thin mustache, red and brown plaid shirt, dark pants and a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
