BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ (CBS) – The Tacony-Palmyra Bridge was temporarily closed after a fire broke out Friday afternoon.

Officials say a support caught fire around 4:30 p.m. under the bridge, which was shut down so crews could put out the fire.

The bridge was reopened in both directions shortly before 5:30 p.m.

The incident caused major traffic delays.
