NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Three Pennsylvania men have been charged with committing 21 daytime burglaries over the last seven months in Berks and Montgomery counties.
Authorities said Friday that 27-year-old Philip Becker of Douglassville, and 28-year-old Michael Benner Jr. and 25-year-old Joseph Samsel Jr. of Limerick, are charged with multiple counts of burglary, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property and related counts.
The Montgomery County district attorney’s office said the burglaries netted more than $110,000 worth of jewelry, electronics and other items.
Detectives said houses were targeted that were set back from roads.
It wasn’t clear whether the men had attorneys representing them.
