It may be cold out but that isn’t keeping the skaters away from the Blue Cross River Rink. The Blue Cross River Rink now offers sled skating. The winter sport is aimed at children with disabilities. Sled skaters control their sled by using two “grip sticks” that use metal-spiked tips to keep them moving and for steering.
