ABSECON, N.J. (CBS) – Police say a 21-year-old is in critical condition after losing control of his car and running off the road.
The incident occurred around 6:10 a.m. Sunday on the 700 block of Ambassador Drive in Absecon, New Jersey.
According to police, Robert Sink lost control of his 2002, white Mercury Sable while driving northbound on Ambassador Drive.
Police say Sink struck a parked vehicle and then ran off the road, hitting a nearby tree.
Sink was taken to Atlantic City Medical Center in critical condition. Police say he was the only occupant of his car.
Officials shut down the 700 block of Ambassador Drive for about three hours as they investigated.
