ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (CBS) – An Atlantic City man wanted for the murder of another man in 2009 was arrested on Friday.
Andrew Garland, 24, was taken into custody after turning himself in to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. He’s been charged with the murder of Shaddiy Dixon, who was among four men shot at a block party in a parking lot in Atlantic City in August 2009.
Dixon died after being shot multiple times.
Garland was identified as the suspect on Jan. 9, 2013 following an investigation. He is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $1 million bail.
