BURLINGTON TWP., N.J. (CBS) – Police say four people have been charged with stealing catalytic converters from cars in two Burlington Township dealerships last August.
According to police, 26-year-old Mark Hendricks and 33-year-old Steven Olivio were charged with multiple counts of criminal mischief and theft and 31-year-old Cheryl Hendricks and 27-year-old Mark Brownlow have been charged with multiple counts of conspiracy.
Police say both Dodge City and Liberty Toyota, located along Route 130 in Burlington Township, reported having catalytic converters cut out of cars on August 2nd. Both dealerships reported the same thing a week-and-a-half later.
A total of 21 cars were said to be damaged and the total cost to repair the damages was around $50,000, according to police.
Bail has been set for all four suspects.
