Several Local Counties Offer Free Flu Shots Starting Today

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The widespread flu activity has some counties adding free vaccination clinics for its residents. One is being held this morning in Camden County at the Cherry Hill Municipal Building, located at 820 Mercer Street, from 9:00 a.m. till noon.

If you can't make it today there are two more chances at Camden City hall tomorrow & Gloucester Township Municipal Building on Friday, also from 9-12.

Two others are scheduled later in the month one in Stratford and in Bellmawr.

"We want to try and contain this, so we are approaching this very aggressively," freeholder Carmen Rodriguez said. "The restriction is no one under 9."

Rodriguez is liaison to the Camden County Health Department.

Delaware County is holding a walk-in flu vaccine clinic this coming Saturday at Penn State's Brandywine Campus 10am-1pm.

And in Bucks County, free flu shots offered on a walk-in basis at the Middletown Township Municipal Center on January 24th 10am-2pm.
