Police Investigate 3 Separate Overnight Shootings In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One person is in custody and two people are hospitalized after three separate shooting incidents that occurred in Philadelphia.

The first shooting occurred around 2:29 a.m. outside of Treasures Lounge, located at 5524 Germantown Avenue. According to police, officers responded to a report of a person with a gun. Upon arrival, police say one male had be shot once in the face and taken to Temple University Hospital by a private vehicle. The victim is in stable condition. No arrests have been made.

The second incident occurred shortly before 3a.m. at 2nd and Market Streets in the Old City section of the city. Police say one person was taken into custody. No injuries have been reported.

The third shooting occurred on the 300 block of Sedgley Street around 7:20 a.m. in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. One male, between 25 and 30-years-old, was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the left leg, abdomen and chest, says officials. No arrests have been made. Police say the victim is being uncooperative.

Police are investigating both incidents.
