NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing 21-year-old man.

According to authorities, Matthew Reynolds was last seen around 3 p.m. on Saturday after he became upset and left his home, located on Brookside Boulevard in Newark, Delaware.

Police report they were able to make contact with Reynolds over the phone Saturday, but he hung up on them without giving his location.

Police say there is a concern for the welfare of Reynolds due to his medical status.

He has been described as a 6-foot-2, 160 lb, white male with a thin build, brown hair, blue eyes and wearing black glasses. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with thin white stripes and plaid “Bahamas” shorts.
