PHILADELPHIA (AP) — C.J. Aiken scored 19 points and blocked six shots to lead Saint Joseph's to a 63-49 victory over Drexel in a nonconference game Monday.
Langston Galloway added 13 points and Carl Jones 11 for the Hawks (7-4), who scored the final 13 points of the first half and began the second with an 11-2 run for a 34-20 lead.
Aiken, who made all six of his shots, had a dunk, a block, an assist and four free throws in the first-half run, and a 3-pointer and a block in the second-half spurt.
The Dragons (4-8), who were led by Damion Lee's 21 points, got within five, 43-38 with 6:55 left, but a 3-pointer and a layup by Chris Wilson started a 17-5 stretch for the Hawks that put the game away.
