PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a man was found dead after a fire in a northeast Philadelphia rooming house.
Police say the blaze in the Port Richmond structure was reported just before 9:20 p.m. Friday.
A police spokeswoman says fire crews found a 51-year-old man on the second floor of the structure, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
