PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Our carousel of lows and highs continue to spin through the area.
The next ride up, high pressure that will keep it cold and dry here tonight and Friday, but by Saturday two different storm systems come together to create snow by Saturday morning.
Though this isn’t a crippling storm by any means, it will bring a light accumulation.
The two sections of the storm are far away and far apart now – in the Dakotas and in Arizona- so it makes calling the amounts trickier. However, amounts from 2 to 4 inches could occur, give or take an inch.
The higher amount could happen to the north, near Reading to Trenton, with the colder temperatures there. By afternoon the storm is moving away and the intensity lessening.
It will be cold and dry and windy by Sunday as winter sets up shop for a few days, at least.
