Ring In The New Year With 'Celebrate 2013,' CBS 3's Live Fireworks Special

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - CBS 3 will once again ring in the New Year with a live broadcast of Penn's Landing's New Year's Eve fireworks spectacular. Celebrate 2013 will air Monday, December 31st, 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on CBS 3.

Anchors Chris May and Susan Barnett will host the special along with Meteorologist Kathy Orr reporting live on the ice at Blue Cross RiverRink, joining families as they watch the fireworks choreographed to music simulcast by CBS 3 sister station KYW Newsradio 1060.

Celebrate 2013 will also take a year-end look at major events in entertainment, news and sports and will feature performances from the Philadelphia Boys' Choir, local ice skating group, Philadelphia Symmetry, and the award-winning Youth Olympics pairs team Michael Johnson and Caitlin Belt.

New Year's Eve Fireworks at Penn's Landing are made possible by our community partners, KYW Newsradio 1060, Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, Coopers Ferry Partnership, the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation, the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing and the Cities of Philadelphia and Camden.
