TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) – The New Jersey Lottery will soon be airing its evening draws on CBS-owned TV stations in Philadelphia and New York.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger says Lottery management was looking to enhance the playing experience for its customers and provide even more ways to watch the live evening game draws.
“I see it as a service to our players,” says Hedinger.
Beginning January 1st, the daily drawing will air live at 7:57 p.m. on The CW Philly 57 and WLNY-TV in New York. Viewers are asked to check local cable listings for channel numbers.
“So we’re trying to be on television, on a mobile device, on a website, on a person’s computer, in the newspaper; wherever a person is, they can get lottery results,” explains Hedinger.
The live broadcast will feature the winning number drawings for Pick-3, Pick-4, Jersey Cash 5 and Pick-6 Lotto with a recap.
The midday draw will remain exclusively as a live-streaming video available on the New Jersey Lottery’s website and Facebook.
